That's why I use duracell. Okay no, that's not why at all. _________________ Mike Kasprzak

Seriously? |
The interesting thing is that I picked one of those up yesterday for a few bucks at a closeout store. Having a wii + 4 controllers + wireless sensor + being used frequently is eating batteries left and right. It's not that I don't have enough batteries; mostly that I can't charge them all fast enough. Then, of course, some batteries go AWOL in wireless controllers, and remotes, so at any given moment I always have batteries being recharged in various locations around the house. Having rambled all that nonsense, it never crossed my mind to hook it to my PC just to have it load more crapware just to monitor my battery levels as they recharge. That's retarded.
I have a really nice Duracell charger that will fully charge 4 2500 mAh AA batteries in ~4 hours, but it's really fickle, and refuses to charge some batteries at all, regardless of brand or power rating. I'm guessing it has some sort of protection to keep people from sticking normal batteries in there, and it's malfunctioning. _________________ Ask not for whom the telephone bell tolls... if thou art in the bathtub, it tolls for thee. |

Oh man! GDC day 1 was insane (or at least our afterparty was). I ran in to Hard Rock earlier in the day. He's so quiet around here, I didn't even realize half the stuff he was up to. :) _________________ Mike Kasprzak

If you put it off long enough, you can go by rocket ship and look at pictures of PoV's grandchildren.
And by rocket ship I mean solar-powered 3mph scooter [/politically correct] _________________ Ninkazu: I wanna shoot up a bunch of cultists in a brilliant cathedral. |

I've been tweeting a bunch throughout the days, but no full reports yet. I wouldn't have time to sleep, I'm so busy. :)
Today was our Ludum Dare meetup, then I had dinner with Intel. _________________ Mike Kasprzak

This one is different, it's amazingly fun and stuff.
I play this wicked 2squad elf deck with demoralize and zap. It's getting me a lot of wins. _________________ Ninkazu: I wanna shoot up a bunch of cultists in a brilliant cathedral. |

They have now sent two episodes of Stargate Universe here and I like it so far.
Thought it feels like they are quite inspired by Battlestar Galactica.
Either way, I'm happy as long as thoose lame-ass pyramidshaped spaceships doesn't show up. _________________ "The devil wore a blue catsuit"

| @Syn9: That's the thing that prevents me from watching stuff like that in the first place. |

| I liked the cheesy goodness of the original BSG series. It was hokey, and campy, and didn't take itself entirely too seriously. Babylon 5 was a good compromise between the glitzy/shiny Sci-fi of old, and the gritty angst-riddled material popular today. |
