If I pronounce it with a soft g, jiff, does that make me a bad person?

It occurs to me, rather depressingly, as I'm watching the original Twin Peaks series, that it's a soap opera written for men: dark, paranormal, and just a teensy bit kitschy.

I don't think I would have liked it had I watched it when it aired. I'm having some fun with it now, at least.

I put that on my list after reading that it was an inspiration for Thimbleweed Park. Haven't gotten around to it yet. I don't mind some soap operas... Star Trek is basically a soap opera as well plus aliens and stuff.

I'd always meant to watch it, but never got around to it. I figured with the new series coming out, the original series would probably disappear off Amazon, so I got motivated ;)

Amazingly, it's still there. But stuff disappears from their streaming selection all the time. It's annoying.

I can relate to that. I work with an entire building of engineers, all working on each other's projects, past and present. Hilarity ensues on a daily basis. We have a naming convention, but no one follows it because it makes things hard to read.

The door code to your office in Prey is 0451.

Thank you, System Shock, for allowing me to randomly open doors in games ;)

A friend found this, and I think it's the funniest thing.

So long story short, the JSON open source license is "not free" because you can't use it for evil.
