Hey you.

No idea. Allegro and SDL were taking too long to get here, so I know I couldn't wait.

Yeah I could see that. I'm curious on the support end of things. Was playing FF 1 with my kids yesterday and it gave me the programming bug again.

I had heard some rumblings about an iPhone port, but didn't follow it for half a dozen different reasons, chief among them being laziness :)

Have you played around with Allegro 5 yet?

Haven't played around with Allegro 5 just yet... lately been working on PHP/SQL and AJAX for different gaming stuff. But it's limiting, you know?

I seem to recall the last thing you were working on was a Python game engine thingy, but my memory is fuzzy these days.

LOL. Naw, I had a Lua game engine. The engine was written in C++ and Allegro, and then it used Lua scripts to do everything. I still have it, and surprisingly enough, it still works really well.

I'm thinking about using that to create a new game. As an RAD it works well.

What have you guys been up to?

P and L are reeeeeeeeally close on the keyboard. :P

There's a bunch of us with projects that are this close to being finished (waves arms emphatically), and a bunch of us with brand spanking new projects that are looking good.

I am going to Win-The-World with my new game, that I have only so far talked about the tech for. :D
