Collusion is a Firefox plugin that provides a visualization of what sites are tracking you during your browsing session. There's nothing terribly surprising there, but in the interest of pure unadulterated curiosity I like to play around with stuff like this. This was what resulted from my visits to Straightdope, Slashdot, Ars Technica, Mozilla, and Google. I had Adblock enabled so that probably made a huge difference :)

Where am I suppose to see this custerfuck of dots once I've installed the addon? I enabled the Add-on bar but I still don't see anything.

At the bottom-right corner of your window you should see a small red/white circular icon (should appear in the add-on bar). Clicking on that opens the collusion tab.

Tis not there. Apparently I'm not the only one. Oh well, I'll try it again in a few weeks or months or whenever I'm reminded of it hehe

http://www.ghostery.com/ - this is a pretty good way to block most of the things that want to track you
