Looks very cool. I loved the Swapper, so seeing those folks' involvement gets me even more interested in this. :]

This looks like it could be interesting, a platformer game. I'm a little put off by the voiceover work and I'm not quite sold on the box people, they look more annoying than charming to me, but the worlds look interesting in the video.

By the way I'm also not sold on a game where you have to urinate into the lava to form a surface to walk on. (Ok, this is presumably not what is happening, but...) (Looks amazing, tho)

Here's one for PoV (and myself). DQB2, now with underwater areas, co-op, and gliding. WIP footage.

I didn't expect this at all; but voice-over and DLC? Really? The colors also look washed out/muted compared to the super-vibrant original.

That said, still cool and I will probably end up buying it. :]

It's pretty much what I expect from Squeenix these days. They took a Vita title and pushed it to PC and PS4, then saddled it with DLC. And yeah, seems like people don't want anything with color in it, even though it's 2017 and Japan.

I'm pretty sure they will orchestrate the music instead of keeping the original compositions, so that's gonna be "soft" too. I replayed SoM about a year ago and....... it didn't hold up quite as well as I remember. I still had fun, but the buggy hit detection and some complaints with how the world map was handled really irked me. The ring menus were a novelty at the time, but weren't all that fun to use. Fun fact: one of the earliest playable Fenix Blade builds had ring menus, before I decided they sucked XD

A part of me still loves the game, and always will. Parts of it are great, and the music is killer :D

What's really going to kill me is when they do this for FF6. I know that one day it's going to happen, and it's going to be a gigantic pile of dog-shit from top to bottom.

On the plus, you can (theoretically) grab one of these, and preserve the memory forever.

You know, if they're not impossible to find and all.

*gasp*

As much as I love Seiken Densetsu 2 & 3 I cant say this remake makes me jump for joy. Not diggin the artstyle, not diggin the washed out colors (seems to me like they sacrifice color when going into 3d with the mana series) and the voiceover is horrendous. That said, it's pretty likely I get it on pc if it isn't a complete pile of garbage lol.
Rather damn odd that it doesnt release on the Switch. 3 player coop would be perfect on that bloody machine.

yea... SoM is one of my all time favorites... i'll mostly likely pick this up. I really hope they learn some important lessons from this and the FF7 remake before they decide to make a Chrono Trigger 3d remake.

I realize I'm the oddball, but as a GameBoy owner I think I preferred the 1st game (renamed Final Fantasy Adventure in NA). Still it looks nice IMO. I agree Switch would be perfect for it. Clearly this was a project started before the Switch was a thing.

I really like the 2.5D engine, but the zoomed in pixel art next to hd effects looks pretty bad imo. It'd be nice if it was the hand drawn art, but delivered in 2.5D.

It is pretty interesting that they're taking feedback on the demo though.

Not a lot to go on here, but looks intriguing.
