This is cool.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/customgamelab/custom-game-dice-you-design?ref=discovery

Cheap small-order custom dice (laser engraved and painted).

They've got 2 limited bargain packs. $30 for 24, $125 for 100 (roughly $1.25 per dice). You can order a whole bunch, but only use some of them. You then just pay shipping any time you want more (first shipment included in the KS price if US, $7 International). If you want, every dice can be unique.

I preordered a $30 ($30+$7) two dozen die pack. I don't have anything in mind, but I have certainly thought about making custom dice. I *want* to order the 100 pack, but given that I don't have anything planned, I'll stick with the 24 pack.

Huh, that's funny, I was actually considering using a 3d printing service to print some dice for me. I was going to get the platonic solids with the element each is associated with used to show the number. This is a lot better, and likely much better. Cheers!

Ahh, though after looking at the kickstarter, it looks like they only do standard 6-sided. Ah well, this is still a hell of a cool kickstarter, I might back it anyway!

That dice thing is really neat. I'm so intrigued even though I have absolutely zero use for custom dice.

Ya, I literally want to come up with a dice game just to use it. :)

Those custom dice have me thinking about getting into FATE again (RPG using weird dice) and designing my own stylio. Would be interesting, at least.

Looks very nice! With a lot of thought put into everything. I would certainly back this if I wasn't a broke bastard ;)

Looks like it's already done? Hehe. :]

Not sure I would dig it these days. Years ago, definitely.

The waffle iron kickstarter is lagging ~15K with six days to go. Now I'm worried.

Everybody that 'starred' a kickstarter gets an e-mail 2 days before it ends. So hopefully things change in a few days.
