My most recent console is still the Wii, and I mostly use it to watch Netflix.

There are multiple games that I really, really like but will never finish, because I got halfway through, took a break from playing for a while, and forgot all the controls. (Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3)

The Lord is displeased with your shameful display! You may redeem yourself by praying to Warren Spector, High Priest of Non-Linearity, every night for a week, and offering a glass bowl filled with black jelly beans to the first ant pile you find in your lawn.

Quote:

I never felt like Mario 64 was a great game. Everything Nintendo did in that game Rare did twice as good in theirs. Havent hardly touched a 3d mario since.

The Lord says Doty is coming for your ass.

Quote:

I have a sin to confess though: I like buying games, but I don't play them...
But of course I keep buying Humble Bundles w/o even looking at what they have in them...
eh yep, that's most of my problem. I actually had around 60-70 unplayed games...

Mass confession mode activated!

My sons, it is a grave sin to be wasting valuable funds that could be buying copies of Mario 64 for starving children in Africa. Without your help, they will never know the joy of collecting 120 stars, much less surviving long enough to power up the system. Our Lord (in whose recharging shield technology we are redeemed) knows there is righteousness in your hearts, but he still demands payment for your sins. You are to drive to Alamogordo, New Mexico, and dig up as many interred copies of E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial for the Atari 2600 as you can find, and mail them to Somalia, so that the teachings of the Lord of Gaming will spread.

The Lord says if our priests can learn x86 ASM (hell, we gave up on Latin years ago) you can relearn a few wonky control schemes. As penance for your profound sins, you must play Tenchu 2 while listening to the song "Dream Police" played in reverse. If you can master that control scheme, all others will fall before your might.

Quote:
The sins of the flesh hold endless temptation and fascination for humanity. Idle hands may be the devil's playground, but sitting around playing Diablo III leads not to salvation -- only carpal tunnel syndrome. For thy sins against the Great and Mighty Lord of Gaming (bessed by thy name, even though we still can't figure out how to pronounce it), penance shall be no less than thirty situps (over a span of one month. We're not crazy about physical exertion) and declaring your eternal love for Suda 51, High Priest of the Perverse Pixel, the next time you shower.

Seems like one sin leads to another. Never heard of Suda 51 before and going over his game-o-graphy I must confess I never played any of his games and I never personally owned a video game console (except if the C64 DTV counts as one).

^ Sinner!

When I am driving a vehicle in a game, I drive to run enemy players under my treads. If one of my teammates happens to get in the way, so be it. It's not a sin if you honk first.

The Lord agrees with your assessment. Look twice before crossing the map!

I must confess, I haven't fired up my Dreamcast in over two years, even though I have plenty of games for it I haven't played :(

I was thinking about confessing another sin, but now I am questioning my faith! It reminds me of the brief fling I had with a Dreamcast back in high school, where I bought one, but then questioned how much I really wanted it and decided to sell it off in the same week. This is truly a time of great confusion.

I have only seen a dreamcast once IRL. If only Sega would have been better at marketing maybe they would have sold better.

I regret not buying the Network adapter for Dreamcast. Who knew it would become one of the rarest most useful accessories out there.

The first time I played New Super Mario Bros. Wii, I was so accustomed to the physics of the NES and SNES Mario games that I mis-timed my jump and died on the very first Goomba in world 1-1.

I've had a few DC's in my day hehe Probably my favorite console of all time next to the SNES.

I suppose it may be a sin that I have not owned any version of the Playstation. Nor have I owned a 360.

I visited youtube to learn the way to complete level 2.1. It turns out I wasn't using my inflatable partner correctly.

i only play games for market research. after which i do writeups on their gameplay features, compelling points, sales figures, negative aspects, and interesting notes =\

Civ2 or Age of Empires are the only games i generally casually play.

a long time ago (maybe 10 years now) i sold my tv and ps2 for gas money... never bought a console or tv after... though i have been reconsidering with the FF7 remake announcement.

I played Pokemon Go with my girlfriend the other day.

Probably more accurate to say she played it with me, since it was her phone.

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about it, but I suspect whatever it is... won't wash off ;)

Only 18 hours? I beat it rather quickly and promptly did not play any more. Is multiplayer better now? :]

I do not know as I play as much multiplayer as I interact with fictional characters. ^_^

Indeed. There was too much "blah blah blah" in the game. Wish there was a mode where none of that happens and you just run around killing things.

Confession time: I thought it was just "ok". Not as amazing as everyone is/was making it out to be. :]

Hm... checking my steam lib again, it seems I even only played it for 6h. Heh. It's not a bad game but I just can't play anything for very long anymore before I get bored or tired.

My total time spent playing Death Road To Canada is now longer than my total time spent playing Doom (which is still ~6h). Weeeee! :D

I played Pokemon White for a few hours.

Pretty much what I expected.

I spent $5 on Pokemon Go IAPs, and about $8 on Data (though $5 of that was used mainly for non Pokemon things when I was out-of-town).

I've probably spent ~200 on wow services. Server transfers, race changes etc. I just spent 17 so my character could have a bigger beard. This is the only game I do this with, I dunno why.

I am preparing your room in hell as we speak. If you'd like a corner room, I have limited availability on the 4th and 5th circles.
