Uh, I hate to break this to you Sonrisu, but you're a mod too! :)

So how about that Boston becoming a police state?

I wonder what is really going on.

Yeah the Boston thing is pretty crazy. I have some friends there that were within a mile of the madness, both times.

I'm still not even convinced it really happened, it was so crazy.

Yeah, I was pretty much referring to myself, there :]

As for Boston, very shocking. All of my family is in the area (not immediate, but close enough). It's amazing the chaos just two people caused. They are also so young. Will be interesting once more information comes in from the one the authorities captured.

Lately I've been watching this Korean show called Running Man with English subs. http://kshowonline.com/category/2/running-man/10
They do a REALLY good job at keeping it fresh and entertaining compared to american game shows. They basically have to run around and do missions, but they also have nametags on their backs and if they're ripped off then they're out of the game. It really gets interesting after a while because they introduce various creative twists to the show, but I won't spoil that if anyone decides to watch it. Definitely worth checking out if you need something new to watch.
btw, when you click on the episode, you can then click "watch online" and it'll open up the video but you can choose different sources to watch it from.

Oh boy... Gearbox has acquired the Homeworld IP.

Yeah, and nobody seems happy about it.
I wonder how much it did cost and what money they used to pay for it with. I'm still hoping that Sega will sue Gearbox and wipe that smile of Pitchfrauds face.

I'm not very familiar with Gearbox's work. I know the Borderlands games are pretty popular. And they made that aliens game that didn't seem to go over very well. I'm not sure I've actually played any of the stuff they've done except for one of those Half-Life expansion packs a little bit. Long time ago!

I suppose the thought of them bringing in a lot of the people who did the originals would be far-fetched, as they've probably all long since scattered to other various positions, or out of the industry altogether...

Some of the original creators have teamed up and formed Blackbird interactive and are currently making a game called Hardware.

Then we have team pixel whom for some reason really thought they would have a chance to get their hand of the IP.

Wouldn't it be interesting if what you were watching was a well fabricated lie?

Isn't it great how much better things look fullscreen and in 720p?

O_O

Yeah... what was I going to say?

Sad to see Darkstalkers heading to Nordic Games. Well, alot of stuff went to Nordic Games. Very strange that such a low profile publisher buys IP's of that standard.

I haven't played a Gearbox game that I've loved. Borderlands was okay, but just okay. Brothers in Arms was very, very pretty for its time, but horribly designed. It was a painful and unfair game, and I regret sticking around to finish it. Borderlands trolled us all hard with its non-ending. Aliens was a giant turd. I haven't played Duke Nukem yet.

So, yes, I'd much rather see someone else take a shot at it. Almost anyone else, really.

Yeah, the Corridor Digital do some fun stuff. It's like they're neighbors with Freddyw, each showing up in each others stuff. The 2 groups have a shared youtube channel called Node where they show LAN parties the two teams have together.

This thread on Neogaf has some funny reinterpretations of game covers using clip art and comic sans.

This is a short live action monster movie made by Studio Ghibli... Yeah that sounds wrong, and then you watch it, and... I'll let you fill in the blank.

Yes from what I read, some of the Eva folks are involved.

How's everyone doing?
Does anyone have any suggestions/techniques that help so that I can be more considerate towards other people?
For example, I'm noticing that I don't find a lot of things interesting unless it involves me.. I'm not sure why, but I want to change this and I don't know how..
