Also much rain here too. Way less snow than before.

It's supposed to rain like crazy here all weekend, but it's sunny at the moment. Maybe that'll last?

I had to start running the AC already. I fear how hot this summer will be.

It has been pretty damn predictable where I live. I usually run my A/C for the first time in ~ six months on the first or second week of April. I was quite tempted to run it last night, so that's in line with my expectations... heh.

Conversely, in the first two weeks of October I get to turn the A/C off, and leave it off.

We've been dying for rain out here. Basically draught conditions, so it's night that we finally got some. That said, I'm now glad it's gone so I can ride again. Prefer not to ride in the rain, dangerous enough as it is on dry pavement. :]

That ten year old in me who watched wrestling back in the day crumbled up and died when he read that Taker lost the streak yesterday.

That sounds like a "if you want to get paid, you're gonna fight this match and lose" to me. What a waste of a legacy.

It was his decision to end it. I think it's a good choice as it sends a good message.

Haven't thought about wrestling in forever. I do remember I was fond of the Undertaker, and that creepy pasty-white guy. :]

I tried to embed this, but it seems gametrailers sucks.

http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/8vyhq6/talking-classics-chiptunes
http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/ewkqlz/talking-classics-keith-s-virtual-mod

I've been noticing this weird dude "Keith Apicary" on various things. Apparently he's a super gaming nerd character who had his own 'show' on gametrailers a couple years back. The show and the things related to this character has this odd Borat/Superbad vibe to it, but he's a video game nerd. And his nerd character is just so good. ;D. Some funny stuff.

This guy is outrageous. ;)

Of course, he's an actor, but keeps in character so well.

Yeah I believe it was. He didn't want to end the career with the streak intact. And well, WM30 isn't going to be forgotten early that for sure.

I just saw that Ultimate Warrior have passed away... damn.

What did you stream?

Funny, I've been talking to some folks about GameDev streaming recently. Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks there's something there.

Oh, we're celebrating 3 years of Better Than Wolves mod for Minecraft, so I streamed some of me playing the mod while talking to the community over Skype. We were even joined by the mod's author for a while, which was rather unique as it was the first time he talked to the community directly over voice chat.

I've been watching the occasional PAX stream this weekend. Many of them are panels, and I've noticed something about the Q&A of PAX Panels: the Q's are often stories (i.e. long), and don't necessarily end after they finish.

My usual reaction is roll my eyes and start ignoring, and that's fine 'cause I'm a viewer. If I was one stage though, that would be kind of a dick thing to do. I'm contemplating attitude here.

At shows like PAX, there's a higher population of the 'socially awkward'. Or rather, people that are genuinely excited about whatever is going on, perhaps they're starstruck/awestruck, and just keep on talking not realizing they're doing it. If they're a fan of one of people on the panel, this chance to ask a question is a special rare opportunity for them. So probably a good idea not to be a dick. You pretty much have a chance to make someone's day/week/month/year with just a few choice words, and treating them respectfully.

This isn't a response to anything I saw (well aside from unenthusiastic panellists). More a self critique of an occasional bad habit of mine (the eye rolling).

I didn't see this mentioned anywhere else, no UnrealScript for Unreal Engine 4, C++ only:
