Remember I ordered all that audio gear? Still haven't received it. The guy doesn't answer my mails, etc. I'm currently thinking he wants to steal my money, which makes no sense, since he's an authorized dealer, has sent me confirmation mails, etc. I have enough legal material to sue him without even a doubt of winning. Strange story. I don't want a legal battle though, I just want to geek out on my new gear.

Stupid idiot. Going to murder that guy if I ever see him face to face.

Remember that it's the holiday season, and most shipping channels are inundated with getting stuff from source to destination. That would be one reason for the delay. Didn't get any tracking numbers?

I took the weekend off. I got to check out Spore (my brother bought it for my mom), and I got my characters in Disgaea 3 the most power weapons I could find (jacking up enemy strength so they drop good stuff, then perusing the item world of the strongest items to find more).

Sorry to hear about your gear trouble Gil.

The items I ordered have been "in processing" from day 1. They haven't been sent and as far as I can tell from the mails, the guy sold me stuff he never even had in the first place, then ordered them from another company. Result is that for some reason the other company can't supply, but since I only have an email address, I can only reach the guy who's selling me. He's obviously an idiot, so I can't arrange it myself with the other company. If I don't get a positive answer tommorow, I'm going to try to push him to refund me or even worse, get the cops.

Finished Disgaea 3. Twas supposed to be working on the update for Smiles, but ... heh... I was feeling lazy. :D

As usual, the game has several side stories you can optionally play after winning. The series makes fun of video games often, the latest having a silly secret plot about characters getting letters from their name stolen. Good times. :)

This is weird.... I don't have an xmas tree up this year. I don't know why. My mom (as I'm still living with her while I finish off university) hasn't done any decorating around around the house. This is a weird feeling Christmas. But in any case, merry Christmas to GDR.

I bought a bunch of toys and catnip for my cats. Other than that, it's very quiet around here. It's the first year I haven't had a Christmas tree in the house.

I stopped celebrating Christmas years ago. What I really hate is how some people pity me for not celebrating when I pity them for being enslaved to the commercialized B.S.

Don't get me wrong, I think Christmas is great holiday, for Children. I thinks its dumb when adults buy gifts for each other like it's some kind of status symbol.

I celebrated xmas (eve) by going to the Dentist. Mmm. ;)

My family always does stuff, so all I have to do is show up and eat.

This year I get to bring the Aspire One with me to work on my chapter, between visiting of course.

My wife and I usually put up a tree and did a few simple decorations around the house, but as far as gift giving goes we stuck to swapping a gift or two between us. Supposed social obligations be damned, I say.

Merry Christmas everyone.

(I don't have the guts that it takes to tell my family that I don't care about the religious background/gifts and that I only celebrate with them to eat,eat,eat...)

Gyah... I stayed up way too late playing games with Pantsu last night.... oh god, my head :(

I got up around 8 and gave my cats their gifts, including some play mice that have been "soaking" in cat nip for 24 hours. They went absolutely nucking futs. Mission accomplished, so I went back to bed for another three hours ^_^

We didn't do the gifts, but we did do the eat eat eat part :)

I went to visit my girlfriend's grandfather in the hospital and saw him surrounded by a loving, caring family. Maybe that's what christmas is all about. People who care.

Enough sentimental crap, my girlfriend ordered me The Witcher: Enhanced Edition for my birthday/new year gift. Hell yeah! It even has a cloth map :)

Huzzah!

I spent the rest of xmas eve watching Kitchen Nightmares on Hulu. After Dinner/Lunch with family, I didn't do much else today... short of discussing boxing day plans with my brother.

Amen to that!
I bought myself a VholdR wearable video camera (i.e. helmet cam). Now I can record my motorcycle/paintball/skiing/whatever else adventures.

xmas for me is about family/friends. If I happen to have someone special in my life for the holidays I get them something but that's about it.

Logitech MX Revolution is a good wireless mouse... except for the fact that the middle click is by default not set up to middle click. Yikes!

60 MB mouse driver later (WTF!), I can middle click, and thusly use Blender as intended.

Bleah.

SetPoint includes drivers for All of Logitech's products. So yeah 60MB.
Kinda lame but it Is convenient if you have multiple Logitech products.

It's especially annoying since all I wanted was middle click. None of the other features interested me. Bleah.
