No no! We don't make such accusations. ;)

Probably more along the lines of: "I've played a match 3 game on PC before"

The only PC version available is the Intel AppUp Store one, hence rare. :)

Ah. You should put a link to that on the game's page.

She wasn't completely sure where she had played it, coulda been iPhone, or maybe it was just a big fat lie heh. She described it as Smiles though. Maybe someone has cloned it already.

I hope not. o_o,

- - - -

Anyways, I'm back now, so it's time to get back to work.

I made the block tileset's alpha'd when un-lit (Zen). I didn't like the "on dark" look they had before.

I think I need to tweak some of the Zen background colors while I'm at it.

Anyways, the goal right now is to make several subtle tweaks and improvements like this. These changes will propagate forwards in to all the upcoming ports, and back in to the Netbook version. Unfortunately, these changes may or may not make their way in to the iPhone version. Some of them might, but it'll be a while.

A better scheme I think, less vibrant of a background, so it doesn't clash as much.

I wrote a short retrospective on GDC.

Includes photos of some of the crazy things I did that week. So awesome.

Cool. Good post. I was hoping for a little inside coverage from a non-news and non-game-blog source, and now I have it ;)

My free Netbook from Intel showed up today. Eee PC 1005HA-P. Has a 10.5 Hour Battery life, Windows 7 starter, and generally feels more solid that my cheaper netbooks. Included a bonus hard travel case and an international power socket adapter.

You're going to look absolutely magnificent in that car :) Be sure to take some "action photos" when you get it.

A blog post on my Smiles HD and iPad agenda, as well as some thoughts on making games for a living.

http://www.toonormal.com/2010/03/19/ramping-up-for-ipad-smiles-hd/

It's long, but it includes pictures.

Crunch time!

I didn't have many choices, but I ended up picking the yellow one.

So much for not standing out.

Given my options, it had heated seats, and the others didn't. So it was the most complete package. Should be picking it up next week, once Intel confirms and transfers the funds.

Sweet. My minivan could likely run slap over that. I miss my Bronco II because it was so darn compact and had an absurdly small turn radius, but the convenience of being able to move around large things (furniture, dead hookers, etc) makes the van worth keeping.

Dood, put a ramp on Sirocco's ride so PoV's ride can ride up into that shit knight rider style. Shit there'd probably still be room for my motorcycle! Let's hole!
